    what is the total round count going to be in Heavy Metal? Will it be 21, 21, and 24?

    Minimum is 15, 15 and 24. Maximum is 15, 21 and 28.

    Can you make up misses on the plates? Are you allowed to reload on any of the 3 stages? I only shoot the match once a year in San Antonio so I don't remember.

    In HM, you have 7 shots with which to take down 6 plates.

    Therefore, you can pickup one miss, only. :wow:

    No reloads under time.

    For that, as in more advanced shooting venues like USPSA or IDPA, the shooter MUST have been trained to get his cotton-pickin' finger off the trigger.

    A lot of GSSF shooters simply have not had that level of training.

    So, all reloads at GSSF matches are done "off the clock", between shot strings. Not during shot strings.

    Ya gotta' hit em' with what you had loaded in the gun when the buzzer sounds.
