Ok guys, I have not worked with chain link in about fifteen years so am I still remembering correctly that I can leave the fence up and just remove the end where it is cut and replace the end with new material and stretch it or do I have to take the entire section down to do the repair? The fence is 6 gauge finished vinyl govt grade if that makes a difference. Thanks

Just unbolt the tension bar from the terminal post and screw in a new piece of wire. Or section of fabric if they cut more than one wire. You'll most likely need to release a line post or two back to allow the cut fabric to lay flat on the ground to make it easier, but maybe not if you have a helper.
