I'm trying to keep recoil to a minimum.

I think an all metal one would be what I'm looking for.

    Who makes one?

    Thanks,

The HK P7PSP is one heavy little son of a gun. Very low bore axis as well, which might aid in the control of recoil. Easily accurate and reliable enough for defensive use.

Have you tried a Glock 26? Has plastic, of course, but are you saying that has too much recoil for you? If you haven't tried one, they shoot pretty soft for a small gun.

I'll second the Sig Sauer p229 in 9mm. Very ergonomical, great feel, little recoil, easy to field strip, easy to maintain, never a huccup, and easily carried.

    What's not to like?

    Regards,

    Fearnuts

CZ 75 Compact - 35 oz. empty. Holds 14 + 1; excellent SA trigger; total reliability; wonderful accuracy; lots of holsters available.

Find yourself an Astra A75. They are heavy. Very pleasant to shoot.
