usually a new headlight switch fixes it, not this time.

The headlight sockets looked crappy new ones didn't help.

I am having trouble finding the headlight switch pigtail.

    high beam 10 min

lo beam 20 minutes then flash flash as the circuit breaker goes in and out.

yes the switch-socket is hot to the touch.

Quitcher*****in, my last Ford PU left the yard without any elec. at all.

There seems to be a pattern with Ford and bad circuits.

Sorry I could not be more of a 'help'. :dunno:

It goes out it's the circuit breaker in the headlight switch.

I think that the problem is corrosion on the back of the headlight switch plug.

I looked today with a bright light and 2 wires are getting hot and they are the ones corroded.

Now if the dealer has the pigtail it might solve the problem.
NAPA and Car-quest did not have it.
