He never touched his front brake.

Believe the guy has watched the flintstones too many times with that braking technique.

Is the video flipped backwards? How could he put on the rear brake with his right foot down? I'm a bit tarded so...………..

And to add; he's a dangerous rider anyway. He almost bit it several times before the accident.

Look at the comments. The images in the video are reversed. What you think is the front brake is the clutch...

Still a doofus move by the motorcycle looking like it was having a pissing match with a sporty car.

    EDIT EDIT:
The video is here on YouTube as well.

    Thanks,

I just saw the fingers of his right hand gripping that bar instead of the lever.

+1 for helmet and what looked like solid foot wear, but no gloves, no jacket? That bike rolled over his body at a high rate of speed. I bet he is missing some meat from that crash.

And in the shot you posted, he isn't gripping either lever. I saw a puff off his back wheel so he was giving the rear brake a stomp, but the front break has 70% of your braking ability. Bad place to practice his emergency braking at. Bet that hurt.

The rear tire is trying to come around to the front, indicating rear braking only. When the skid mark on a bike is straight, at least for a good distance, you know they hit front and rear

I count at least 5 mistakes leading up to the crash. This has to be his first bike. Good thing for all the sick people out there that need organs donated.........

Figured it out. He is south of the equator. They reverse the controls on bikes down there. Like toilets swirling the other way.

If you look at it real close, he didn't use the rear brake. The smoke was coming off his shoe. Can't use the brake with your foot on the ground. He did have his index finger on the front brake.

Just stupid to do that. Needs to be better at riding or get more safety gear.

Watched it again. That was his rear tire. It was swerving and happened to be right behind his foot.

I have put a boot down. You can't press hard enough to make that kind of smoke. Your boot just gets kicked back.

The way this clown was riding prior to the accident convinced me quickly that he would soon become another statistic. Moving in and out of traffic like that and multiple lane changes put him at risk many times. A motorcycle's rear brake only provides a maximum of 40% of stopping power. The front brake provides the other 60% and needs to be used in conjunction with the rear to provide the best stopping power. He clearly deserved what he got. Looks like he didn't die, this time.

At the beginning I was semi impressed. He opened up his following distance, then he did a whole series of dick moves. It is funny, he was so desperate to pass that one car and ended up biting its back bumper. Total newb rider in my opinion.

Probably has an amazing set of bruises. Mine was more localized.

He was on the brakes, but too late. Then he panicked and lost control.
