I tried setting up an HTTP email account for outlook using yahoo with my yahoo email url. This is not the exact url but it is something like this: http://g938.mail.yahoo.com

Key word here is tried. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    Two things:

First of all, you set it up just the same as you do with any ISP...pop3.yahoo.com or something like that in the incoming server field, smtp.yahoo.com for the outgoing server.

Secondly, do you have the paid Yahoo account? Because they will not allow this sort of access unless you do...

BTW, I have gmail and I use Thunderbird answering it, and so do a few hundred of my clients. So you could say that I have set up a 'few' of these.
