    LMAO no...

I’m pretty sure I had the swine flu years ago when that was all the rage. Was miserable for around a week and a half.

    I’m still here though.

I have some surgical masks coming in... but I had been wanting those for a long time.

Might pick up some water. Tomorrow... again, something O had planned. Bottom line I’m not able/prepared to stay in my home for months on end... so just going to have to roll the dice.

Not sure why people would be panic buying bleach already, that's a bit odd. Check the Lysol stock.

Sounds like you don't have a lot to barter with. Good luck with the persuasion. Hope you have a small army behind you.

Sure. I go to Costco every two months to load up on cleaning supplies. I went a week early.

I also keep a large supply of disposable gloves on hand. Somewhere I knew I had a box of 95 rated masks but was unsure I could find it. Ordered another 40 masks. Tonight I found a container of them. I have another container, but not sure where it is.

Years ago, I was assigned to a three doctor medical satellite facility. When I learned one day that it was out of some basics, I accelerated my acquisition of medical supplies.

The news folks said this evening that 33 people have died in my state PA from flu, either strain A B. Also said it is not too late to get a flu shot. The report was not too concerned about coronavirus

I procured a stock of medicaments, my mother needs.
Some medicine raw materials are made in China only and if the virus will spread uncontrollable, this might have influence to the American and European pharmaceutical industry.

Because there are plenty of resources to identify, contain and treat the couple dozen of cases globally. It when the number of infected > medical resources needed that things go critical. Like it is in China right now.

Better check that duct tape, it is probably dried out and won't stick by now. Plastic sheeting doesn't age real well either.

Almost done topping off my supplies.

Stopped by Walmart and Dollar Tree. Tooth paste at Dollar Tree is $1 for the same product that you pay $4 for at Target or Walmart.

Picked up some Flu Severe Symptom meds from both places. Focused on products that had anti-mucus anti-congestion attributes. Got some cleaning supplies also.

Last stop today at Costco to get some canned goods. Then all I need is to top off the gas cans.

Not really worried about anyone in the family getting infected, but if we had to go into lock down for a month or three we can deal with that.

All this is stuff I should have done months ago, but kept putting off. This China Crisis was a good motivator to take an inventory and re-fill stuff that we had used over the past year (i.e. only had 3 tubes of tooth paste left)

I'm optimistic that things won't get as bad here as they are in China. Not even close. . . But. . . Better safe than sorry. Besides, I live in an earthquake zone, and I'm only 40 miles away from the only active Volcano in N. America.

I'm sure there are things that I forgot. . . But unless you are Bill Gates you can't stock up on everything.

Nice thing about prepping ahead of time is that you don't have to worry about rushing out to get stuff.
