Get on the phone, computer what ever it takes. Our Representatives need to hear form us now.

Now is the time to act in order to save the republic.

Outside Independence Hall when the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended, Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"

With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."

Yes, although the phones are pretty much useless today. Busy signals and full mailboxes on every line. I've emailed. My long distance bill is going to look ridiculous this month lol.

My congressman is voting no, and my senator yes. There is no way to get him to change his mind, not even worth trying.

I don't have a congressman. He liked tickle fighting better than representing me. My senators just love the concept of Obamacare.

I got a repub congressman thats voting no...supposedly...and senator thats a real piece of work...I think he sucked down too much agent orange in Nam....Yeah, he's a vet, so I hate to rip him a new one, but I did anyway. He wants amnesty for any haitians that need medical care...and he's tickled about getting 8 billion dollars of stimulus money for a monorail here.....Evidently he didn't get the memo about the Amtrak money pit.

Oh well, I emailed all of them as a 'reminder'.

    I doubt they give a damn...the have-nots and want-yours outnumber the haves.

I live in N VA and have done all I can do.

I've contacted Frank Wolf, but he's a R / No already, so no problem there.

The two disgusting fat head dem Senators we're stuck with are lockstep yes's with no mind of their own. Theres nothing MOR or moderate about them. they're voting for the socialist take over.

I may go to the march on the capital tomorrow, but I despise crossing the Potomac.

While I'm doing all I can, this Bill will pass.

The day I learned 1/2 the people in this Country were beholding to the govt for their very livelihood, I knew we had lost the Country. For how long, I don't know. Anything any person believes is "free" from the govt, except those who have to pay for it, will end us. And that it will take some years for the truth to be known is only a detail. A detail known all too well by those who've pushed this on us.

Truth is, most of the people who won't have to pay for this don't care. They're just happy that they'll get what they think is something they haven't been able to get before, because they live off the rest of us. When in truth, what they're getting and what they think they'll get only shows that their greed and ignorance will ruin us. And that's ok with them, because they've been taught for decades that "their plight" is someone else's fault anyway.
    Down with the system!

Barring a repeal, which I won't hold my breath over, we'll just have witnessed the demise of America, sooner or.................no, sooner.

The New England Journal of Medicine ran a poll, and 38% of the respondents said they would leave medicine if it passes.

Not exactly true. They published the survey briefly but it was done by someone else. They say they have nothing to do with the survey now.

I'm sure my congresswoman is voting yes, I emailed her anyways. Probably wont even get read but gotta try anyways.

All our Reps in Mass. are Democrats and vote with the party. My Rep is Stephen Lynch. I contacted his office several times over the different stages of Obamacare. This week Lynch publicly declared he would be voting "no" - much to everyones surprise.

His seat was probably never in jeopardy in this liberal state even with Browns recent election here. It shows that the voters response and calls can have an influence. Keep those calls and e-mails going.

I often call my congressmen and senators.

Usually I just scream obscenities at them and hang up.

When you call a rep/sen other than your own, make it clear that even though you aren't covered in their district, you (and all like minded Americans) can still donate to their opponent as November gets closer.
