I was thinking of getting a glock 33 also. Should I do this or just stick with the 9mm and get a g19 or kahr k9?;c

    Why get two G26s?

Loved my G26 as it was an easy shooter.

BUT if you want more knockdown power and a bigger grin on your face when you shoot, the G33 is a blast.

You'll need some Wolff steel guide rods and some extra power recoil springs to slightly slow the slide veolicty so its enjoyable to shoot.

But the ballistics of 357 sig compel a CCW person to ask why not get 357 mag performance in a small package?

sold my G26 years ago - now I have that G33.

For 9mm, I also carry a Kahr PM9 which is smaller and lighter and thinner than the G26 for deep CCW when the G33 is too thick.

Get the G33. Recoil can be rough, but the power is awesome for a small gun.

Love my 33. Love the 357mag power in a pocket gun. Sure it kicks more than a 9 but what real gun don't (just kiddin guys, no need to crucify me) Get what you'll use and use what you get. I'm use to a .45ACP, .44 Special and Mag, model 66 .357 mag so the little extra snap to the m33 doesn't phase me at all. Best thing is to rent and shoot one at a range or borrow a friend's and shoot it. If you like it, get it. If not, your just out the cost of shell and maybe rent but you'll have the experience and that's worth it.

I have two 26's because I'm more accurate when them and enjoy shooting them the most. It is fun to rent a bigger caliber sometimes though. I enjoyed trying a 27 once.
