Americans are fat.....we need to eat some more veggie burgers!
We aren’t fat cause we eat too much meat. We are fat cause we consume 5K calories a day and burn off 600 pressing buttons on a remote. Don’t give a crap what you eat. When you eat more that you burn the human body stores it. It’s just that simple.

I’ve been wanting to try one, simply to see what they taste like. I have fond memories of school cafeteria “burgers” sometimes.

Call me when someone has a plant based prime rib or fillet.

The ground up stuff makes it seem like they're not trying very hard.

I see no point in it.
1. If i want a veggie sandwitch it will be a sliced tomato on buttered bread.
2. If I want a hamburger, its going to be a hambuger.

If I want a veggie sandwich, it will be tomato, lettuce and a half of dozen big slabs of bacon!

I tried one and it was like eating a whopper. After about 2 hours it had a strong aftertaste. Probably will not eat another one.

I tried growing a hamburger tree, but it didn’t work. Every time I planted the hamburger seed my dog would dig it up and eat it!

Since I am not a vegetarian, no.

Then again, I dont eat anything at BK or McD's these days. If I have to eat fast food I opt for Chickfila or a sub from somewhere (Wawa locally).

An independent café here would offer veg burgers as a lunch special about once every other week. I thought they were very good. But then everything they had was good.
It doesn't mean the idea translates to fast food procedures.
I await the Beyond Chicken imitation at KFC.

Tried both the Whopper and Carl's burger. Carl's was less satisfying and left an aftertaste. Whopper was pretty good but PRICEY. I don't have a cholesterol problem (~149) and my diet is has me shedding weight==mostly stopped the fast food! So, I don't think so based on price!

Just plain dumb.

"Scientists" worked untold hours to put untold vegies and chemicals together to make something that tastes like beef.

Woo Hoo! We finally duplicated what cattle have done for thousands of years.

This is progress? Never knew cattle were the competition!

I tried one. It was okay. However at 8$ it is overpriced

Two things I’ll probably never buy: an electric (coal burning) car and a vegetable Whopper.

If I want veggies I’ll have a salad. And I prefer chicken or seafood most of the time anyway. My wife keeps the cattle ranchers in business; she can”t resist a good quality steak on the grill.

Oh, I forgot.
Bacon is very much an essential vegetable.
