I have been curious about those "impossible whoppers", made from all plant materials.

People say it tastes just like a regular whopper.

I had an opportunity today to try a "promotional" (free) one at my local Burger King. It was, OK.

As a free-burger, I'm willing to eat another one. If I have to pay for it, I'll just go with a normal whopper.

I confess. I don't really see the advantage of the "meatless" hamburgers.

No. There's still beef on the menu.

I tried it. I wasn't bad. It wasn't a perfect match to the beef version obviously, but a pretty good attempt.

I had an impossible burger at BK. It was delicious and I felt good after eating it. Not all weighed down and gross feeling that a real beef burger will make me feel.

"People say it tastes just like a regular whopper."

Yes, it probably does taste just like a regular whooper, which is to say it tastes like crap.

I think it's the Democrats who would like for us to stop eating beef. That way we could put all the cows on welfare.

Some people for religious reasons don’t eat cows. Impossible whoppers are mainly to tap into untapped markets.

You know, like manual safeties on handguns...

Have you looked at the nutritional content on one of these new wonder burgers?

I'll stick with regular good ole 93% lean ground beef.

Like I said, if I ever get bit by the lone star tick and develop the allergy to galactose 2, then I’d be ok with this chemical “burger”. I agree, it’s not as bad as those veggie “burgers”.

I had one that was burnt black and it was horrible but then went to another Burger King and had the Impossible Whopper done right and it was better than a beef Whopper!

Nope. Didn't climb to the upper level of the food chain to eat grass. I'll eat what eats the grass.
Lostwife developed a aversion to beef. Several of her siblings have it as well. Best to describe it as an "Allergy" but it shuts her digestive system down. Dr said not to try that too often, because he can't say why it happens or know for sure that it will start up again. Even food fried in oil that had beef products cooked in it hit her hard. Odd thing, she can eat other red meat.
We'll stick to turkey. Pretty tasty if done right, and have some ground venison in the freezer for the red meat fix.

Look up what they use to make it taste like a whopper! You might change your mind. LOADED with fats!

I have had them once in a while. Not the same, but I tend to put lots of glop on burgers anyway, so it's easier for plant-burgers to emulate beef burgers for me.
