...they started wearing 5.11's?
Not only has my shooting improved, but since I started using Pings instead of Spalding golf clubs, I shoot under 80. Wow...it IS the gear!
I don't own any 5.11's. Maybe I should buy some and check it out.
I was having a hell of a time with the whole "curve the bullet" thing until I geared up with some 5.11's.
Now I can swing with the best of them.
Angelina Jolie is SMOKIN' !!!
i shoot in jeans, no telling what might happen with 5.11s. have considered them for the knee pads while shooting but so far not used them for that. i have wore 5.11s for work where jeans weren't allowed, not sure it mattered but to me it was a little KMA thing wearing 5.11s. got away from 5.11s for work and now wearing carhartt pants that are not jeans and i think a bigger KMA thing and still following the rules.
You know, I bet if one were to procure themselves a pair of 5.11 pants and a three-wolf shirt, they'd be virtually unstoppable. Carlos Hathcock and Elmer Keith all rolled into one.
I noticed mine have since I started talking to cops on the internet.
Everybody knows that badguys look for guys wearing 5.11 pants.
Holy crap...I guess I need to throw out all my Royal Robbins and get some 5.11s if they make one a better shooter.
In all seriousness though, I have been wearing these since before they were the "in" thing I guess. I started wearing them well before anything with 5.11 was ever made. Over the years I have had to retire a few pairs of Royal Robbins and of course the only thing I can replace them with are 5.11s now since Royal Robbins no longer makes them. I have one pair left that are really ragged but they sure are comfortable.
I think if one were to wear 5.11 pants, UnderArmor shirts (and underwear & socks too of course), and Danner boots, they'd be unstoppable. Oh, and a ball cap with their particular firearm manufacturer emblazoned on it.
