I have turned my rear sight around and have filed it wider in the rear and a little narrower in the front. Simple mod, but for target shooting on my G17, it works great.

Was this with the plastic sights or with the tritium NS? JUst curious. Thanks.

How did you do it? Hand file, milling, or what?

I'm thinking of asking a walk-in machine shop if they can machine/mill my NS wider in the rear or narrower in the front w/out destroying the trit vial.

The cheap ol plastic sights. I used a think fingernail file I found of my wifes for the rear one.
