Oh, wait. You mean it's not a day for cops to celebrate?

Screw it. I already composed you guys a haiku:

The backstairs were especially slippery today.
The IA inspector has glaucoma.
No snitches.

Be safe out there and may your nightsticks swing easily and true.

Cool! I'll remember it when I go to work later.

Can we talk mean and hurt their mothers' feelings, too?

Sorry to be the wiseass, but the traditional haiku has 5 syllables, then 7, then another 5. Here's my contribution:

Flying towards your head
Gracefully floats the baton
Stop resisting, sir

I knew there was a pattern to haiku, but I couldn't remember what it was.

Let's try some more:

Six shots break the calm
Shotgun lies just out of reach
"Do you feel lucky?"

As Boston loser drones
Young man seeks attention's glow
"Don't tase me, bro! YEEEAAAAUUGH!"

I can't grow facial hair which, sadly, disqualifies me from employment as a Federal LE. However, I will henceforth wear a beret, dress in all black, chain smoke, and write law enforcement haiku between reading chapters of "On the Road". Here's a few more:

Perp in back, no belt
I think I see dog, I brake
Sorry 'bout your face

I claim no I.D.
I pretend to be cousin
*****, he's wanted too

You look out your door
You then realize it's us
Now you hide in tub

Finally, one for our city's last OIS-

Front yard with rifle
"Drop the gun" means "Drop the gun"
Get well soon dumbass

UUHMM...all of sudden its a little too high brow for me. Dont poems have to rhyme?? What ever happened to Dr. Suess?

Police Brutality day...For a second I was soo happy, I thought " The city's going to indemnify me for all this??" I clicked on the link and felt so toyed with.

I'm with you, when I ran across people talking or writing like this I called it dementia, not art.

Sorry...I would have gotten everyone a card, but I don't think Hallmark makes them. And what's the traditional gift for your colleagues on Police Brutality Day?
