Or the end of it, can't remember which. I love getting that extra hour of evening, and it helps living on the far western side of the time zone too. Bring on summer!

If you people want more daylight, YOU get up earlier and stop making the rest of us get up earlier along with you!

    End DST!

I normally look forward to the onset of DST but this time it is stacking up on me. The lost hour on Sunday will be followed by another on Wednesday when I expect to go from CST to EST as I drive from Houston to northern Pennsylvania to work for a few weeks. Nothing real hard about this but then there is the fact that while between jobs the last few weeks I have fallen into the habit of staying up later and frequently sleeping until around 7 AM, sometimes later. On jobs I am usually up by 4:30 AM at the latest. Guess I'll be lagging for awhile. You folks in Pennsylvania watch out for the sleepy Texan in the silver Tacoma.

Totally caught by surprise this year. Was watching DirecTV at about 1:55AM. The guide says current movie was 1:30-3:00AM. I thought their software was messed up. When their clock hit 2:00AM it went to 3:00AM. Then I realized.

I do like the extra daylight. Changing clocks is a pain though.

I've still got 2 more weeks before we "spring forward" over here in Spain. At least until then there is only a 5 hour time delta between here and HQ, so any engineering support should be available by 1:00 pm instead of 2:00pm my time.
I just wish they'd leave the clocks alone and everybody deal with the sunlight as needed.

Back when I was kid, I did love the hour of extra sunlight after school.
Now I hate the idea of going to work in the dark, just when things were starting to get so I didn't need headlights on the bike (pedal type:supergrin:) in the morning commute.

We should split the difference, and move it up just 30 minutes, and then never change it again! DST is ridiculous.:steamed:

I think that the gov is moving back the one in the fall and forward the one in the spring in order to slowly move away from the DST standard. Has anyone else heard this or thought this? Seriously, it seems like it was Bush 43?

I too like the extra hour of sunlight after work! It helps too when I'm only 10 miles from Indiana so thats about as close as it gets to get the maximum benefit from it :)

I think they should just leave it DST... not go back to regular time, because I enjoy the extra hr of daylight for fun and I HATE it when it changes back in the fall and you go from some daylight to it getting dark at 5PM... Eff all that.
