Are you going and which categories are you going to shoot;d
I'm shooting Civilian Stock, Subcompact, and Stockmeister. Probably will head over on Saturday (21st).
Haven't shot a GSSF match in several years. Looking forward to this one very much.
I wish you well at Hallsville.
I will be there on Sat with son Sam. I'll be shooting Am Civ and Sub, I don't think Sam plans on shooting this one. DannyR, sorry I missed you at Statesville...will you be at Hallsville? ;d
Hallsville is too far a drive for me, but I do plan to be at Conyers, Lexington and Anderson.
I too am planning on Lexington, most likely on Sat. Looking forward to seeing you there...
Dee ;f ;f ;f
New member here, hello to the group. This will be my first match outside of one indoor Glock match. I am really looking forward to it. Have to work Saturday, so will compete on Sunday. By the way, can I shoot a g17 slide and barrel on a g34 receiver in civillian stock?
Good luck. You can use a 34 receiver with the 17 upper.
I have decided to relax and enjoy with a 500 mile trip to Hallsville arriving Friday night. The gameplan is to shoot Unlimited and Competition on Saturday...and come back Sunday and shoot Stockmeister and Amateur Civilian .....I intend to shoot all 4 categories with my stock 22 ;f
Using your 22 for AmCiv, Competition and Stockmeister may well prove to be a benefit to you. I don't know about Unlimited though! I've tried two different ways. I've shot Competition, Stockmeister, and then AmCiv. I then went back and shot Unlimited. At Statesville I shot the same order but went through the 4 at the same time. I try to get another shooter between each catagory, it let's me think for a minute, load a mag or two if I need it. If you can build momentum, shooting them all the same day may work for you.
I will probably drive up Saturday and shoot Sunday morning, shooting Amateur civilian, amateur sub, and major sub. Enjoyed it last year. It's the same range where I took the basic Chapman course.
I wish I could be there, but it is just too far now. I shot there in the 1998 GSSF match and it is one of the most beautiful ranges I have ever had the pleasure of shooting at.
Good luck ALL!
This "old boy" from Texas will be there shooting on Saturday.
I will have some of our CARVER Mounts with me, too. If anyone would like for me to bring a special color and style, let me know. Save the Shipping and Handling costs.
Jerry...thanks for the tip...I do know that I need a warm up period, so whatever I shoot first gets chalked up as practice. I shot 4 categories at Indy..I checked in at 9:00 am but didn't get finished til 2:00 pm...way too much time between stages....Every time I leave a match and start the drive home I find myself saying why didn't I do that, well I am hoping that by using Unlimited and Stockmeister as warmups that the scores will improve and by Sunday I will have consulted with my innerself and do what needs to be done.I also am taking THE VOIDS experience to heart, I feel that this pace that we live in today breeds these type of laspes, I myself need to ENJOY the Experience and take time to smell the GUNPOWDER....Good Luck at Conyers. ;f
Hey Guys n Gals!
I'll be making the trip to Hallsville again this year, but unfortunately without my Team Bradis comrades. ;1 Instead, I'll be shooting with my buddies Chris K. and Mick B. (you guys out there?) as Team Ballistic Review Midwest. I'll also have my lovely wife along, shooting her VERY FIRST match!
I'll be shooting my usual four classes: AmCiv, UL, Subcomp and MajorSub. I took second in AmCiv at Hallsville last year, so I've got my eyes on the prize! ;f
We'll be driving over on Saturday night and shooting on Sunday. Hope to meet some of you all there!
It's a long way from TX, but I didn't want BCarver to be the only Texan there! I'll be shooting Sat. Am Civ (G17) and Competition (G17L). See ya there.
p.s. I'll have 3 G19 factory high cap mags with me I would like to sell.
I'm planning to be there Saturday...I want a blue one! How much money should I bring?
The blue one's are SWEET!
Thanks for the interest and inquiry!!!
I will have a "bodacious blue" weaver CARVER Mount for you.
The price at the match will be $134.95. No shipping/handling required!!
1) Does anybody know the hours of the event on Saturday?
2) I sent my apps in to GSSF almost a month ago, and they cashed my check ASAP. However, nothing has come in the mail from them. Should I worry about this?
Any feedback is appreciated.
