It's been a long 87 days since my last haircut. Today I feel human again. That is all. tom.
My quarantine buzzcut is starting to grow out some. Probably about time to fire up the clippers...
Everybody is sold out of clippers around here. tom.
Got one yesterday, feel years younger now.
I've done two self-inflicted buzz cuts so far. #2 guard all over, and it's not too bad. But I had a dream the other night that I tried without the guard and it was a disaster. Actually, I think I may just do it myself even after the barber shops open back up like normal instead of an isolation ward.
been doing my own for 4-5 years now I didnt miss a beat
I did..im mostly bald on top typical male pattern baldness...but the sides and back grow like a weed still.....id go to the hairdresser and they would cut it...took like 10 minutes or less...watched what they did and I was like...I could do that...so I ordered a set of $30 clippers and guards...tried it...about 10 minutes later....looked just like when i got home from barbershop....I guess I paid those clippers off about 4.8 years ago lol ...I do not try to do the back of my hair/neck i let the wife do that the first time amazingly I did OK.....the 2nd time......lol not so much
I got a haircut last week. Made the appointment online, sat in the car until they texted me, mask required. Only two people in the shop at a time. But it was worth the effort.
I did my own for the first time about a month ago . It turned out pretty good . I don’t see me going back and paying anyone anytime soon .
Next time I do one myself I may save the clippings and send them and a bottle of glue to my older brother who has a wicked "Friar Tuck" thing going on and is very sensitive about it. Ha-Ha...we always go for the sore spot.
Deputy Tom before haircut.
I cut my own hair and felt quite inhuman with the results. Went back to quarantine until it fills in a little.
Ever hear about a hat? Covers up a lot of sins.
Even a bad haircut feels good now
He has that 'keep your social distance' look.
I've been getting consistent haircuts every 2 weeks using the cordless clipper. I've been doing that ever since I started to become...ahem...folliclly challenged.
No guard is easier. You just shave it all off. Just keep running it all over your head. Rub your hands all over and if anything feels longer, do it again. Feel free to ask someone if you missed anything.
Just got one after almost 4 months without. A haircut never felt so good! I attempted to trim it up on my own, but didn't do so well... and the barber said he could tell.
"The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me. "
I got one last Friday after a couple of months of me hacking on the front and my wife cutting on the back of my size 8 head.
Now my hats fit.
My 4 year old grandson likes his hair short - since he couldn't go to the barber my daughter bought a clipper -
She did OK the first time on her son - so I had her give me a trim -
She has now given my grandson several haircuts and has done mine 2 times.
She tried giving her husband one - and he thought the side wasn't even - she had been using the guard / but had taken it off -
So he takes the clipper (no guard) and BAM he took a giant chunk off the side - so he had no choice except shave it all off -
