...probably not the best background. I guess I'll see how it holds up on my daily carry, as I shoot it quite a bit, for me at least.

Here is my Gen 4 G17 and my Gen 3 G17. The finish on all of my Glocks was different and I like the finish on the Gen 4 G17, more of a shiny look.

Put 100 rounds through each to make sure no issues and none.

That's nice. I have considered cerakoting my G21 when I get new night sights.

Nice. I had my G19 gen 2 cerakoted, armor black, slide only, then added night sights. Seating the captured RSA was a bit tight (at the muzzle end) but fit and finish was great. Have a little 200 rounds through it since cerakoted and have had zero problems. Gun is a bit tighter but it functions great.

Is that Burnt Bronze? Very nice. I'm actually considering the Cerakote thing for my 15+ year old G27. I've seen a custom blend 80% Burnt Bronze w/ 20% Graphite Black that looks sharp as well.

Keep us posted on how well it stands up to EDC.

Burnt bronze would be cool but it's just desert tan, the color in the pic is just off a bit. I'm going to Gunsiteacademy in Prescott next week, going to use the G19 for the week, the first test of the cerakoting.

I am curious as to how it will hold up though I do like a gun that looks used, gives it character  I'll take some before and after pics.

looks nice. From every test i have seen dealing with Cerekote, it's one of the few built to last. Tests on Duracoat seem to show it as a let down.

Wow! That turned out nice. Looks like a safe queen Gen 2 now. Let us know how it holds up?
