going to write a comparative review?
Kraut versus turkey, an interesting comparison of very similar guns.
My money's on the HK....
We are waiting for the verdict
The H&K VP-9 performs like a $800 pistol should. The $350 Canik performs like a $600 pistol. Ergos go to the VP-9, just a little. Triggers are dead even, the Canik has a shorter re-set. The sights are equal, although neither is that great. Fit and finish are close to equal with the H&K maybe better. Recoil impulse goes to the VP-9, but no big deal for either. Not much more to say, both pistols are fun to shoot and own.
H&K VP-9 *****
Canik TP-9 ****
had both, still have the Canik.
If I decipher correctly, the $800 gun is slightly better. However, the $350 gun punches way above it’s weight class and may be a better value proposition for some that don’t wish to spend as much. Capiche?
Did I read and interpret that correctly?
That's exactly what I read into it!
You are right on!
