Nice. I have the pre optic version. An excellent gun. I've been thinking about the optic one now too

So I went out today for some shopping, hit the tractor store on the way on a whim. Was hoping they had a 43X. And they did! But I ended up buying one of these instead (the 2020 VP9). Haven't done anything but hold and dry fire, but mmm, mmm, good.

Edit: I know it's typically a prereq. to post a photo when a gun is bought, but it looks just like @Slugo's above. Exactly.

    Very nice. I have a 2015 VP9.

At first I didn't like the "wings" on that back of the slide. As I shot it more and more, I started liking them. Now I want them on my M&P 9mm.

    Congrats!!

I did some shooting with it this afternoon. Indoors at 10 yards. Shooting low, see targets. Not the gun, it's me. Love the front sight. More practice tomorrow. IMG_2344.jpg IMG_2343.jpg IMG_2341.jpg

What's new for 2020? I loved mine, most comfortable gun I've held.

I like them, but the way the right side slide release is made concerns me. The lever looks kinda thin, and being fully outside the frame, how easy would it be to bend it if snagged on something?

Congrats!! My 1st choice if I could not get a Glock. I have one small thing I don't care for on the VP, but it is very minor, and I ignore it anyway. It's mostly a personal druther, nothing really wrong with the pistol itself. And they do shoot well! Love a VP9, even if HK hates us...lol! Haven't seen the VP9B out and about yet. But I never had a problem with the lever mag release anyway, so there you go.
Have fun and enjoy that World Class CQB pistol!

Optics ready is a Huge deal for some.....if you don't want an optic then not.....once I got comfortable with optics it is a game changer.....I encourage everyone at least to get some good instruction with one....then decide...for me the speed to target with accuracy, especially at distance, was like going from dial up to cable modem....

They're nice guns but I like the more compact SK version best.

Just picked up a 2020 version yesterday and took it straight to the range. I am very impressed with it. Not sure if I like my P30 more or less or equal. Same problem with G17 vs G19-- love them both.

    Congrats on your new gun.

The VP9 2020 is awesome! I have one with a Holosun 507v2Gr and I am torn between the 34.5. Both are incredibly accurate.
My only complaint on the VP9 2020 is the lack of compressor height sights.
