Man, that bug bit you hard! Great looking pistol Slugo! I’m still holding out for the non existent P30L V1.

I think the P30 is a great pistol. I felt is was just a little too big for EDC for me so I sold it. I was hot and heavy for the SK version, but since the intro of the P365XL and the G43x and G48, I've lost interest in these bigger guns. Also it was going to cost a small fortune to mill the slide for a red dot.

Seems the older I get the smaller I go. But I do really like HK pistols. Enjoy

    Congrats, excellent purchase!

I have one in a 9mm and one in a .40, both excellent shooters without a doubt.

I’m 54 now and I think I’m going in the opposite direction as you. Just bought a USP40, tried and recently missed out on an Expert, and have been looking for a P30L for awhile now! As far as knives, lately I’ve been carrying a Spyderco Pacific Salt and a Chinook 3, and a ZT 0350, bigger is better!

A Glock 26 and a P30sk are the two smallest pistols I own, and they’re both my carry guns. And you’re right, the SK’s are definitely not small pistols......but my P30sk is an amazing shooter, but you absolutely always know it’s on your side! I think the extra weight is what makes it such a great shooter!

Nice, I'm fighting the urge to pick up a P30 myself. There's something I really like about hammer fired guns.

I also prefer hammer guns. But, my VP9 is a superior gun for me than my P30. Much better trigger, easier disassembly, and swallows any ammo you feed it.

I have been leaning towards getting the p30s for cocked and locked carry.

Great pistol Slugo. I have to P30L's in V3. They've become my EDC and IDPA pistols. They replaced a Sig P226 Legion. I still have the P226, it just doesn't see any carry time.

    Nice HK.

The P30, VP9 and P2000, and of course, the USP are all nice guns.

I have the SK v3s. But also a P2000sk .40. Size is about the same, but the safety on the P30 to me is superfluous. And I shoot the P2000 better. So I think I may move the P30 along.

So are you bragging, offering, laughing at me....what?
Great looking pistol, it’ll be my next pistol purchase, I hope! I did look at a G45 today, I was quite impressed! After a year of looking for a P30L V1 with no luck, that G45 may be next!

I was completely joking about the bragging part, meant nothing harsh, I promise!

How long have you had yours? LGS or online purchase?

I ordered mine brand new without external safety in 2014 I believe. I ordered it from my local dealer who no longer even carries HK anymore.

According to my log, I’ve put exactly 220 rounds through her.

The Glock 45 IMHO is their best CCW 9mm.
