I just heard from the same source that there will be a Glock carbine ready for Christmas.
Might be worth it as a SBR. Better yet with a can. Other than that, it's a really cool range toy.
This! It's the "cool factor" and if we have to explain it....
Is an HK bolt-on stock available, for a “factory” sbr conversion?
No. HK stocks use push pins. No bolts.
Easily found on the web.
1. Your link seems to contain only aftermarket stocks, not HK. Maybe I overlooked it.
2. Do these aftermarket stocks come with the push-pins required, or alternatively does the MP5 already have the correct pins needed for installation?
Thanks. Figured someone here would know rather than surfing.
yet you own a Glock which hasn't had any changes since the gun was made in the early 80's
I was fortunate to have been issued one for about 2 yrs...loved it...ours had the 3-round option...absolute pinnacle of German engineering!
There still aren't any objectively better guns to replace them. There are much better PCCs than the HK
Assuming these will be imported and those that will SBR them, it’s still gonna have to be deGermanized per 922r.
Check out hkparts.net as well. I’ve ordered a lot from them, never had any issues. Just a side note, any of the US made parts that I ordered from them for my SP5K SBR fit perfect and been a decent quality for fit and finish.
Meh... I'll get excited when they offer a 10mm version.
I was all excited till I used one. No, thanks. Over hyped to say at least. Average in its class. Bolt staying closed after the last round wasn't exactly encouraging to me.
Hk is my premium gun.. i have put lots of 10mm thru a full auto mp5 that an agency allowed me access to. I have never owned a mp5.
I agree 100%.
I would love to get my hands on something like a H&K 94 and convert it to an MP5SD. I've shot a real one and it's one of the coolest firearms I've ever handled.
Not a MP5, but a HK UMP 10mm.
Remember that this is a 9mm
semi auto? Detuned, Castrated
I have a MicroRoni, and a Tavor
The mp5 is a smooth shooter. Im not a huge fan of the safety, a little awkward, but its controllable and has good sights with tons of reliability. Last round hold open isnt a big deal imo.
