Average price is $35. Factory HK mags, around $70ish. Stay away from the ETS MP5 mags!! Total crap!!!
Who made it? If it's made under license, it'll still hold a good deal of value. For an example of this, compare a Springfield SAR-3/8 or an FMP G3S to an HK 91.
I'd love to have one if it had a 16" barrel and a stock and didn't cost all that much more than my 9mm AR. I'd even be willing to overlook the fact that it doesn't use Glock magazine like the AR. But at that price, in "unwieldy-oversized-pistol" configuration, I'll pass.
Dang it, I just bought a Zenith Z5P a few months ago, hmmm, might need the real deal to go with the SP5K I bought a couple years ago.
Once you disassemble an HK the price becomes obvious. And it confuses AR folks that the HK upper is FFL, not the lower. That blows their minds.
There is nothing too impressive inside an HK. They do like to overcharge for them though. The upper being the FFL item isn't that unusual. The millions of Ruger MK owners know all about it.
If they sell a 16" carbine or if you cared to SBR the "pistol" with a real stock, it would be nice to have a PCC that worked. The popular 9mm ARs are not exactly paragons of reliability.
Interesting. I'm still waiting to see how the clone from PSA works out. Hopefully it'll be available sooner than later.
