Nice, and about $700-$800 less than new.

If I were a Baer fan, I'd be really tempted. Hell, I'm not a Baer fan and I'm still a little tempted!

I wish I had $2000 laying around. I wouldn't bid on it, I'd just buy it.

Actually, with the hard chrome finish and 1.5" option, you would be lucky to get one for $2800-$2900.

    Here's a new model:

Yeah, the $100 savings probably wouldn't be worth the risk.

I have a Dan Wesson Pontman which provides the same accuarcy for one heck of a lot less cash.

    :faint:

I don't think so. Sorry to burst your bubble.

The PM is a nice 1911 for the money, but its no Baer SRP with a 1.5" guarantee.

:rofl:Now if it were the Pointman model, I might believe you, but after the horrible reputation that the Pontman model got, I just can't believe a word of it.

Did it come with emery cloth?

I have a couple Dan Wessons, and they are accurate enough for my intended uses, but they will NOT provide the same accuracy as a Baer 1.5" gun.

Yeah, I'm not sure where TonyT was coming from with that comment. It was laughable at best, but highly ignorant at worst.

Lets hope he takes some of the money from the sale and buys a decent camera. It takes a lot of nerve to sell a $2000 gun with photos from a $10 cell phone camera.
