RIP! I didn't know it was a real person!
Cool! Well, not the dead part.
RIP Officer Oldshein.
RIP Sir, I think I've taken plenty of shots at you myself, thank you for your service!
Died at 92. I'd say he led a good long life. RIP.
So he was a bad cop? I never would have guessed it.
our range specifically prohibits pictures of people as a target but htese are sold there. i wonder if they know that this is a pic of a real human.
Boy, that sure brings back memories of the range during qualifying time.
Wow. All those years and I thought it was a made up pic. Too bad he (appears) not to have made a cent off it.
i had NO idea that was a real person.
yeah,i`d say hes a good guy.(kinda feel bad for shooting at him all these years)
Rest in Peace Lieutenant Oldshein.
Now I feel bad...I've shot that guy a bunch of times. Here I was thinking he was a BG.
RIP Lieutenant Oldshein.
Thanks for your service and image.
Outstanding informative post, Drew. Thank you.
Good story, thanks for sharing.
RIP Lt. I have that poster behind my office door.
I don't think there is a serious shooter that has not unloaded a few rounds at that target. God Bless you, Lieutenant Oldshein....
Me too. It's drawn in that '50s comic book style--I'm glad the model finally got some recognition before he died. It's the least they could do for him, after all the firepower sent his way over the years!
I could have sword it was Freddy Worell. Sad to hear that they are dumping that target. Sometimes change is not for the better.
Amen to that. I've shot him many, many times. Like others, though, I had no idea that it was a real person. Don't think I could shoot him now that I know he is a "good guy". RIP, sir.
