As was mentioned in a previous post which I can’t find right now because GT search function is not working for me, the current season is a tribute to Ermey with “celebrity” hosts. I like seeing the weapons used but the repeated super slo-mo is irritating. That said, tonight’s episode had a mistake the producers should have not allowed to happen.

“Clifton Collins, Jr. hosts and scopes out two guns that were on opposing sides during World War II. Trevor Clancy brings a pair of 1941 Marine Corps sniper rifles. Then, Kirsten Joy Weiss teaches about the Japanese Type 99 Light Machine Gun.”

The episode was interesting, but Collins was wearing a flag shoulder patch with the stars backwards for a shoulder patch. Weiss was wearing it properly with the stars forward.

I know, it probably not something to be concerned about, but why couldn’t they have gotten it right on a gun show?

I will now return you to my non OCD posts :)

They didn't do stars forward until after WWII.
