As we near the end of 2004, maybe it would be nice to compile a list of the "things we'd like to see in gun stores" in 2005. This will be our contribution to improving their product lineup by letting them know what kind of items we are looking for that no local store is as yet able to provide in acceptable quality or quantity.

For me, my gun store wish list would consist of the following --I wish that gun stores would offer the shooting public the following:

    1. Truly pocket-sized 9mm pistols like the Kahr PM9 (tama ba yung model number) that have a slimmer profile than a Glock 26.

    2. Rifles in a caliber other than .22LR or .22 Magnum that can be purchased by civilians without having to pass through backdoor channels. I mean, c'mon, if the law states that civilians can own high-powered rifles, and there is even a rifle competition sanctioned by the PPSA, what is keeping gun stores from offering those Colts, Bushmasters et al to qualified private individuals?

    3. Sidearmor holsters. We have stores that offer Blade-tech and Uncle Mike's, but I wish that some gun store would realize that a lot of Glockers consider Sidearmor as one of the best kydex holsters around.

So what about you guys? Is there anything you'd like to see on gun store shelves in 2005?

    1) Licensing the individuals to carry any licensed pistol of reputable manufacture concealed and not the moronic and tedious licensing of each gun.

    2) Reasonable fee of PTCs good for 5 to 6 years.

    3) Weed out the ridiculous "non-appearance" option of FED

    4) Lower price tags as Mannix said.

    5) More guns!:)

    1. Cheaper copper-jacketed factory ammo so that I don't have to
think "yucch" when firing lead-bullet reloads (then having to clean out the barrel).

    2. A 50%-off Clearance Sale on the guns that obviously don't move from year to year (e.g. that one S&W 66 that Twin Pines has had on stock for years.)

    3. The 8-shot .357 S&W 627, and 8-shot SL-Variant speedloaders for it.

    4. Delivery Service to one's office/home
