Every election year we hear so much whining about the guys in office that it amazes me. I have neighbors who complain all the time about how bad things are and then I look and they are not even registered voters. :wow: I know gun folks who don't even go out and vote and then wonder why our rights are always under fire. The government claims that there are many millions of gun owners in America..well, what if they were all true voters and members of the NRA. Go vote this year or stop the confounded whining. :whistling: Ok, I am done. :faint:

People that say your vote doesn't count, are trying to change the outcome.

    VOTE!

I plan to vote, and to drag my wife along with me. She wants to see Obama gone, but doesn't like politics.

I hear that from people also. I hate politics so I am not going to vote. The only people who like politics are politicians.

"gun owners" may be to generic, i know more than a few who are over the top progressive democrats, who not only will vote for obama, but bring their bleeding heart liberal friends with them. i would be perfectly happy if they slept in and forgot what day it was on election day.

make sure you tell your Consevative friends to get out and vote!

I started looking up neighbors who whine all the time and most were not registered at all. Then some of the above posts mention libs who own guns and that just amazes me. BI just hope the gun owners that are conservative and moral and decent go vote this year.

I refuse to vote for the "lessor of two evils". Anyone who thinks that either of our two choices are "friends" to gun owners (or anyone else for that matter), is most eloquently explaining that they know nothing about politics in general and these two useless politicians in specific.

Since I was old enough to vote, this is the first election, of any kind in which I am not voting. I am not voting because I refuse to play a part in the process that has been changed from a method of choosing the best person to lead our country into a idiotic popularity contest that is run in it's entirety by public relations experts who try desperately to dress their whores in the manner they feel most of the Johns (in this case "voters) will appreciate most.

Vote for the lesser of 3 evils then and choose a different candidate. They couls use your support.

I would love to see the fall of the 2 party system.

I was going to go in and vote for Mitt whilst holding my nose but after much reading here at GT I have come to realize that since I don't pay taxes I infact should not have the right to cast a ballot. Guess I'm gonna sit and watch it all crumble:crying:

So who do we vote for, the guy who supported an AW ban or the one who supports an AW ban?

I would love to see this too. However, we Americans, by allowing "lessor of two evils" be our rule and guide to presidential candidates have created two monsters that will never be defeated until there is nothing left for them to feed upon. That is the unavoidable end to our political system. What comes after the death of our political system may not be what we want. That is the undeniable truth.

Firearm ownership isn't the number one issue for alot of "gun-owners." You have to remember that there are gun owners who are union members, gay gun owners, Occupy gun owners, socially liberal gun owners, ect.

Is there a 'none of the above' block on the ballot?

Maybe a reset button somewhere on that machine?

    :dunno:

Yeah, it's called staying the hell home.

I'm not voting either, this time. As much as I dislike Obama, there's not a single thing I can think of to like about Romney, and I've tried. I've never been more disgusted with both candidates, and rather than vote for the rotten apple over the rotten orange, I'm just not going to bother.

Instead of not voting, how about we all pick someone random from one of the other parties. I know he's not going to win, but it'll surprise the heck out of everyone when he's got more than 2% of the votes!
