Dear Gun Club Presidents and Members, The PPSA is happy to announce that our COMELEC / FED request for Exemption from the Gun Ban has been favourably acted on. A big part of this is due to the efforts of President Jack and FED Operations Chief Col. Maligalig. Please see attached documents EXCERPT FROM THE MINUETS OF THE REGULAR EN BANC MEETING OF THE COMMISSION ON ELECTIONS (February 02, 2010), specifically issue letter (A) and / FED Memo Circular 01-2010 Section III SCOPE AND BASIC POLICIES, specifically letter (d). The exemption will cover ALL Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays of the exemption period and the Monday after every match date shall also be included. (Ex. Match date: March 13-14, 2010 exemption will include March 15, 2010 Monday) With this exemption, the PPSA carries the RESPONSIBILITY of guaranteeing the COMELEC and FED that we are responsible law abiding citizens dedicated to the sport of Practical Shooting. Please follow the procedure as listed below; PROCEDURE: STEP 01 A) Gun Club Presidents to submit endorsement list of current PPSA Members requesting Exemption from the Gun Ban; see attachment FORM 01 B) Fill out Individual Pre Registration Form; see attachment FORM 02 C) Fill out Application for Exemption from the Firearms Ban (4 copies); see attachment FORM 03 C) Attach current FED Gun Club Accreditation and Recognition / PPSA Affiliation Certificate. STEP 02 A) Submit all documents to the PPSA with the corresponding fees; B) Fees: 1. PTT Processing fee Php. 1,000 2. PPSA Processing fee 200 3. Pre Register in any (2) Two 2,000 Qualifying Matches; FORM 02 (1,000 X (2) two matches) TOTAL FEES......................................Php. 3,200 ROUTING A) PPSA will submit all documents to FED for printing of PTT. B) FED will endorse documents to COMELEC CBSFP Committee for approval. C) PPSA will release approved EXEMPTIONS to Gun Club authorized representatives ONLY.
