    How do those gunranges survive?

Armscor (then Northstar) had a facility where you could "store" your gun there on premises under some documentation, but I believe they were raided and the arrangement was stopped.

Armcor MCS still offers gun storage service, free of charge for members, don't know if it will accept non-members to deposit their firearms though. Another source of income for gunranges would be rental of their house guns. For foreigners, Armscor MCS charges P3,000 fee per shooting session, exclusive of ammo.

confirmed na yan, check out your ptt it expires on jan 13.

also exemptions will be issued to ppsa members who are actively shooting matches. since ppsa is planning that matches still be regularly held

Is this safe? I mean takot lang ako that they might tamper or use it for whatever purpose without your consent...

Do you get to keep the key to the storage box?

its safe. because you provide your own lockable gunbox, a photocopy of your FA license must also be with the pistol.

i've tried this briefly two years ago.

I dont use PTT kasi so its not a basis for me....So, I've gone to Comelec a few years back, which proved to be tiring and took so much of my time then just to secure a gunban exemption which I was able to twice already. During the last election though and this time around, I do not think I have the luxury of time and I guess most of us either as we are also busy doing our own business. I'm just hoping that there would be a much easier way/ process for us to secure such permits less all the hassle and time wasted to go to Comelec in Intramuros, and the hassle to going back and forth for follow ups etc....

not sure. however, being a PPSA member and getting active in the sport is reasonable justification for exemption

For me, exemption by virtue of being a government official with a defensible arguement about having to defend self blah blah blah.... works as long as ping lacson is not the Police Chief - he is anti-Gun.

Lacson as I believe is not anti gun, rather he just wants all the guns in his favor and no one else gets to have one..

I've lost track of gunclubs that really participate and Im not sure if Armscor is a good choice for me considering that Marikina is very far from Makati area. Used to join CCCastro but not anymore...Any BOG member could suggest how to join, where and easiest way to join, of course with the end result of at least being able to have a PTT during this dark season of gunban.
