Just wondering if anyone here had a good heads up on a good guide service for hunting in Montana, California, Nevada, or Texas.

    Thanks in advance.

(Oops should mention we are looking to hunt Boar, Deer, and/or elk)

    hodgdonhead,

Concerning your question for a Texas Guide Service.

We no longer guide for deer, but we do still guide for Turkeys.
Have guided hunts since about 1975 give or take a year.

We have never taken a hunter that went home empty handed.
We have some pretty good size birds on the ranch, and you should "at the very least," take home a 10-10 1/2" beard, and 1 1/4" spurs, at around 20-23 pounds.

There are bigger, in the beard and spur department, but this is about "standard for us," on an 'average day'... on a little 'better day', we should get you a bigger beard.

The terrain is canyons and hills, with mesquite and cactus, and buffalo grass, and plenty of huge rattlers... we supply the snake leggin's should you need them. :)

The hunt is a "TWO DAY," hunt.
PM me for a price quote.

We can arrange sleeping quarters, or you can bunk in the small western town outside the ranch... about 500 people population.

More details available, when i get your PM.

BTW.... We "only," do spring hunts!
    Comanche Canyon Guide Service.

PSS... I have a brother about 4 hours further west, (still in TX.), that guides primarily for mountain lion, with a very high success ratio. Also Deer. His ranch covers more ground than you could cover in a day or so, and ranges from canyons, to 7,000 ft. + mountain ranges.
