Hello Mas,
For a self-defense gun what is your recommendation for the best
guide rod/recoil spring assembly?
I have a G27 Gen 3 and am using 155/165 grain bullets.

1) Factory
2) Stainless Steel
3) Tungsten

A) 16 lbs (Factory)
B) 18
C) 20
D) 22

Up-to-date factory recommended springs are what I'd go with. If you have a Gen4 G17, for example, make sure you have the latest generation recoil spring assembly.
