Hooah! An original 1875 Gatling Bulldog! 700 rounds downrange through this baby, and another 600 or so through an assortment of rifles, DW pistols, Les Baers, Fusions, Kimbers and other assorted stuff I hauled to the range. It was a VERY good day!

.45-70 baby! It can rock and it can roll! Got video of the first 100 rounds, loaded 20 at a time to ensure everything was running properly, but I'm not sure how or where to load it up. :dunno:
It's a beautiful piece of machinery to be sure.

No, in black powder, it would have been a .45 bullet over 70 grains of black powder. The case is about 3 inches long. I shot modern powder rounds through it today which held around 40 grains of modern rifle powder. I didn't load it, so I'm not sure of details beyond that. The gatling owner had it for me to use.
I've got video of the first 100 rounds, twenty at a time to make sure it was ready to rock and roll, but I'm not sure how or where to load it to show up. :dunno:
