Well just got back from the range with my new G22 Gen4 I bought a few weeks ago. I did NOT have one malfunction of any kind. I went through 500 rounds and used 5 different magazines. Three old 15 rounders and two new 15 rounders. No problems!!! I used a different brand of ammo per 100. So it ate them all. Whitebox, Blazzer, Federal, Remington and someones reloads I bought at a pawn shop. To be honest I was a little worried with all the bad reviews on stove pipes,FTF,FTE or whatever else issues have been used. Anyway, it was really pleasant, extremely accurate right from the start and in my opinion less recoil.... Just wanted to share a good day with my Gen4 G22. [/IMG]
No, you are just like every other owner of a Gen4 G22--Zero Problems. It's the new G17 that has caused a select few shooters some self-resolving issues.
I've got about 300 rounds trhough mine with no problems. Used all 180 grain. Federal, WWB and Remington.
I REALLY like my Gen 4 G22. It feels great, almost as a single stack .40 s&w . 500 rounds of 180 grain Federal fired so far. This weapon rocks. Go handle one I thank THEN you will understand how skinny it feels. Stay Safe............J.H.
Glock is Perfection. Perfect results are the norm. Very glad that yours was the normal experience. At some point I expect to be buying a G-22 IV.
Mine has been good, too. On the day I picked it up I fired 400 rounds of reloads thru it with not one problem. It will go thru ammo fast.
It's a recurring problem here.....those folks who's Glocks perform well don't tend to complain about them nearly as much as those few who's Glock don't perform perfectly.
