I remember quite awhile back where Eric mentioned there was available a special format of GT just for the iPhone. Where to I get it and how to set it up? Anyone remember?

Look up the app tapatalk. I haven't been able to get it to work, but I think it could if it was set up properly. Just haven't taken the time to do so. Eric might have to flip a switch on the server somewhere to allow tapatalk access. Not sure. Sorry for the vague response, but hopefully others will chime in too.

No formatting needed. Regular GT runs flawlessly on iphone.

Yeah, the app Eric referred to was Tapatalk.
It's free to read and $2 or $3 bucks if you want to be able to post.

I just use the native Safari browser.

In fact, as my signature says, this was Posted from my iPhone.
