Anyone shooting the Piru match this up coming weekend?

I plan on going Sunday, maybe if there is enough interest we can get a GlockTalk team organized to do an entry and at the very least have another entry for a random prize.

You won't get an additional eligible prize entry with a team, though you could win a single plague if you place first. But the team scores are derived from 3 shooters within the same category; AmCiv, AmGuardian, or Master Stock, and are the combined scores of those 3 shooters in a given category.

Are you aloud to holster your gun and magazines?
I have heard you can holster your gun if the slide is back and locked.

Perhaps you should read the rules in the Glock Report in hard copy or online at www.gssfonline.com. Look at paragraph 70.10 it explaines it very clearly.

Anyway, I'll be wearing a CalGuns T-Shirt. So if you you see me on Sunday stop by and say "Hi".

Good to know. I'd be happy with a plaque, but it looks like no one is really interested.

You might have better luck throwing together a scratch team the day of the match. Ask to post a sign up sheet near the registration desk or just ask everyone you see (key on the good shooters:supergrin:). You don't have to register before you shoot, just do it before registration ends.

ZeroG- It will cost you $10 to register a team, though.

Thanks Mike, I will probably need it. Less than 300 rounds down range for practice since Conyers Match. Hope to be better prepared for the San Antonio Match next month.

    Hi Gang!
The "Bear" was there! I got there about 1:15. Shot civilian comp to warm up.
Scored 83 seconds and change. Then I shot civilian am. Scored 78.78 seconds, a big improvement over 119, last year! Now if LAX range would email me the results of the indoor league shoot from last week, I'll be happy. I start my new part time job as a line
coach at Front Sight next weekend. I'm really jazzed about it! Best wishes to all!
See ya in Vegas! Beware the "Bear"!

It's coming down pretty good today. From what I read though GSSF is a rain or shine event, so I'll be heading out shortly....
