I AM NEW TO THE GLOCK. I WAS A GOVERNMENT MODEL VETERAN UNTIL MY SON BROUGHT ONE OF THE CURSED THINGS HOME A FEW MONTHS AGO. I NOW OWN THREE. I AM INTERESTED IN THE GSSF AND WHAT IT MAY HAVE TO OFFER.

IS THERE ONE IN TENNESSEE, HOPEFULLY WEST TENNESSEE?

ANYONE WITH A POINT OF CONTACT PLEASE MESSGE ME.

Most folks have to travel a good distance to reach one of the thirty GSSF Matches held each year. Closest to me is 150 miles one way. Farthest that I choose to attend is about 425 miles one way. It's worth the drive.

    Closest to you may be:

    Marietta OH
    Statesville, NC
    Hallsville, MO

I live SE of Nashville, and there are no GSSF matches. Only IDPA. The matches that are close to us (which I always attend) are Statesville NC, Anderson SC, Conyers GA, and Lexington KY. There are other matches I shoot, but these are the closest to us. Where 'bouts are ya??

    GTA,
I have been considering road tripping to Ky or GA. If you could go to only one of the (4) you listed which one would it be all things considered distance, facilities ect. ??

It's a toss up. On one hand, you have Conyers, the biggest match of the year with the most prizes paid out. On the other hand, you have Lexington,KY, which by far is the most beautiful range/club house/scenery. About 4 hours either way from Nashville. Where are you located??

I live in Springhill and currently only shot IDPA at Maury County Gun Club in Columbia. So you would recommend KY or GA over NC&SC ?

The Statesville, NC match in September is at a very nice, well managed small range, easy to find. Conyers is at a large range in October, again well managed and easy to find. Lexington, KY in November is held at a beautiful facility. Anderson, SC is not until next March.

Decisions, decisions. Conyers does pay out twice the number of pistols and cash prizes, 60+ in Amateur Civilain alone.

Thanks for taking the time to determine the distance from Springhill unfortunately I'm in Springhill, TN.

I have several questions about GSSF but I think most have been asked before so I will do some searches first.

    Feel free to ask questions.

None of the GSSF'ers in here will make any snide comments about using the search feature.

    :)
