I have never shot in a GSSF match but would like to. I was reading over the rules and they say "express sights" are allowed, does this mean XS sights? I have these on my G26.

They're allowed. Good luck "target shooting" with them at 20-25yds.

No-one can tell you what sights work best for your eyes. What you can see is known only to you.
The sights I shot when I was 20 sure aren't the sights I use in my 60's.
XS big dots may work for you, and shooting what you carry makes sense.
A G-26 with XS is a great carry rig - go for it!

Yeah, I've never been especially impressed with the XS sights either.

pzlehr, all you need to do is put all your shots inside an 8 inch circle at targets out to 25 yards as quick as you can. Some folks have stated that they are very accurate with XS sights, but I'm not aware of anyone who is winning GSSF matches with them.

I have a little backyard range where I set up a tombstone target. I fired the correct number of rounds at the legal distances. I shot 435 out of 500, 5 shots were in the 5 ring all others in 8 and 10 ring. I thought that was not too bad, I'll really be able to tell at the actual match. I kind of like those XS sights.
