I want to shoot in at least one GSSF match this year, probably the one in Topton PA, in August. Anyway, I read the gssfonline site, and I didn't see a description of what gun mods are legal for each division, or what shooter qualifications are needed, etc.

I plan to use a stock G19, but it may have some trigger work done by then (if legal, per my questions).

    Thanks.

    Short cut answers:

You may use your stock G19 in the following categories: Amateur Civilian OR Amateur Guardian (if you qualify), but not both, plus Amateur Competition, Master Stock and Unlimited/Masters.

All trigger parts must be factory parts. All springs must be factory springs. You may use your choice of sights and rubber grip sleeves/skateboard tape. Absolutely no modifications to the polymer frame or steel slide. Exceptions place you in mamters/unlimited.

So, a 3.5# trigger is legal in AmCiv if it's a Glock part, but not aftermarket (LWD, Scherer, etc.)?

You will find yourself in what is known as deep water.

Please note that there ARE sharks there.

Glock factory 3.5 connectors are factory parts. LWD, Scherer and Ghost are not. It's self explainatory once you understand it.

I just attended 2 different indoor matches in Michigan. They were run completely different than one another.

The similarities are stock Glocks with no add-on sights (red dots, lasers)

I have read here that some indoor shoots will allow various sights as well. Best to call the site where the indoor shoot will be held and check what their rules are.

    Enjoy ~ ;c
