I just got my GSSF two year membership that I won in Beckley in the mail today. It also came with my pistol purchase coupon. I didn't request it because I thought the home office had enough to do but they sent it anyway. I am trying to find a place on-line that honors the discount. Anyone have any idea where I can get a pistol and use my discount on-line??? Bud's? Ed's?

No person can purchase any type new GSSF membership and then instantly purchase a
pistol on this program. Dealers will not be able to take GSSF Membership fees, complete
the membership paperwork and sell a discounted pistol in one transaction.
All membership cards will be approved and issued by GSSF staff only.
All members purchasing a pistol under this program must present to the dealer a new-style
Membership Card marked as ‘GSSF Pistol Purchase Coupon’ that the dealer will then
attach to the Form 4473 and retain for their records.
SUMMARY:
GSSF will print / issue 2 types of membership card forms.
New Annual members of any type will continue to get a single membership card and this
card will NOT be accepted to purchase a discounted pistol.
Renewing members of any type or New Multi-Year members will receive 2 membership
cards. 1 card will be clearly marked as ‘GSSF Pistol Purchase Coupon’ and no
member may receive the discounted price without this card. The dealer keeps that card
and attaches it to the Form 4473 and/or other pertinent records.
These qualifying members may purchase 1 discounted pistol only per calendar year.

Please contact GSSF at 770-437-4718 or email to [email protected] for more information.

I have the GSSF Pistol Purchase Coupon already. My problem is I cant find a participating dealer. I didn't want to have to email the GSSF office and bother them with this as they have enough on their plates already.

Mike,

Just E-maill GSSF tomorrow and ask for a list of participating dealers in WV.

If you buy online, you will still have to have the pistol shipped to a dealer in WV and pay a transfer fee.

The bad thing for me, is that the dealers close to where I live, add $50 to what ever the price I can get it for. They say it is their cost for the 2 minute transaction. I guess that forces locals to buy direct from them.

Call down to GSSF and they will give you some dealer choices near you. The ones they mentioned were different than the ones under the teamglock listing for me. What are you looking to get next? I was going to ask if it was a 24, but wow, you have that one already.

Mark,

I deal with Town Police Supply in Martinsville. It's a 120 mile round trip, but a hassle free transaction. Just call first to make sure they have the Glock you want.

G24s and G17Ls aren't included in the GSSF Pistol Purchase Program or on the LE Officer Purchase list.

I know that the Team Glock list once had no actual bearing on reality as it wasn't current. Not certain about this moment in time and space but I'm skeptical about anything being current on any Glock site except GSSF match results. Team Glock is their newest site update though, so who knows...

How do you sign up for GSSF? And what exactly is it?

Outdoor Hub mobile, the outdoor information engine
GSSF is alot of fun and its a true test of ones shooting skill as every competitor MUST shoot a "stock" Glock pistol in all divisions with the exception of the unlimited division (thats where you'll find your raceguns). I haven't got alot of experience in matches, heading to my second one next week, but I can tell you this...its VERY fun and VERY challenging. Join up and enjoy yourself with the rest of us!!!
And thanks for all of the info guys and gals. I checked out the TeamGlock site and a few other references but decided that Danny had the idea and went ahead and emailed the GSSF and asked. Hopefully there's a place nearby that participates, the transfer fee at my LGS is $40, that kind of ruins the discount.

Many FFLs give reduced transfer fees on the second, third, fourth gun when transfered at the same time. (Don't ask me how I know this.) Just buy them by the dozen (or even half dozen) and the average fee drops considerably. :tongueout:

I'm glad you mentioned Town Police Supply because one of the LE men I know said he goes down there and their prices are a lot lower than our local shops.
Thanks again.
