WOW! I take a year or two off...

I just went to GSSF on line and it looks like my three favorite matches are no longer there!

Oregon: old, June match in Roseburg, new looks like it is in Aug, and moved to Albany?

Washington: old, Shelton in Aug, new in Bremerton?

Idaho: Core’d alane (SP) is just GONE! That was a real favorite especially the side/after stuff.

WOW! I missed allot, it even looks like the Glock STAGES are changed. I looked at the pictures and it is well... interesting.

I would like to hear from those who have shot the NEW stages

Is GSSF still allowing Glock Stocking Dealers to set up at the matches?

For the record I edited out about TEN other questions I figured I could go to the GSSF web site and do more research.

    Respectfully,

It looks like one in Roseberg, one in Albany, as well as Bremerton WA.

    Is this SET ?
    Anyone know for sure?

    Thanks,

DEJ/FL: did you read the bottom of that message?

I got one too, and a similar one before the Orlando match. I was kind of curious how widely distributed that waiver offer was. i.e. did GSSF send that to everyone or just life or multi-year members? Would it be usable by a newbie if you brought someone to their first GSSF match?

As for the changes, I just shot Orlando last month after having missed a couple years. The wonderful GSSF online web site that only works properly with IE gave me no advance warning that anything would be different other than the somewhat smaller/compressed Glock-M setup. The new (one of many possibilities apparently) 5-to-Glock was a big surprise for me, but I liked it.

I think that by changing the layout of the targets, so you don't know exactly what to expect until you get there, it removes a bit of the "game" from the match. People who practice the GSSF stages (the old ones anyway) won't have quite as much advantage over people who just practice using whatever targets/ranges they have available.

As I understand it, GSSF mailed the noticed to all the active members that they have a e-mail address for.
Any current GSSF member who brings in a new membes who join's at the match will be eligble for the pistol give away along with the new member!

Yes, Roseburg, OR is still there on their usual first weekend in June. Albany, OR is a brand-new match in August. As noted, the Shelton, WA club lost the lease to their range so that match has moved to a club nearby in Bremerton.

Coeur d'Alene has moved east down the Interstate to Missoula, Montana.

There is actually MORE GSSF shooting in the Pacific Northwest than there used to be.

That disclaimer appears at the bottom of any e-mail from Glock. I doubt they would get torqued off about a "freindly" reprinting of of one of their e-mails since it is to their advantage to get the widest dissemination possible.
