I just called GSSF today and asked about the program and I was told on monday they are changing the certificate program to a different system. He said he couldn't tell what it was through.

If I wanted to use the old system for discount glock certificate, I would need to send in my GSSF application before monday.

My question is does anyone know what is this new system for the GSSF certificates?

The price will increase to 425.00 and you will have more options to obtain the pistol from the certificate.

Wow. Not such a great deal locally - they're retailing for $440 retail in my part of the world.

I guess it just depends where you're from. With everything included, my 22C would have run $700 locally. With the GSSF membership through Ed's Public Safety, I got everything for 550.

I suppose that's true. I can get a new basic Glock around here for around $480. So the hassle of getting one through the cert isn't worth the little I'd save.

If they increase the price, I'm going to cancel my GSSF membership.

Getting a stock G17 for $398 IS THE REASON why I joined...plus going to their matches.
