My 17L is not ported. Where can I get a factory ported one? I know that I can buy a new un-ported one and have it done, but that would not be legal for competition class. Right? I checked with Glock once last year, and they had none. Even a used one would do. Or a complete upper. Any ideas? I am not ready for Unlimited so I need to stay stock.

    Thanks,

    Dayton

P.S. Anybody want to carpool (from VA) to NJ for the June match. Buddies here can't make it. My wife is not too interested. See Ya.

Void, Yes it needs to be a stock Glock barrel for Competition. I don't know where you might find one. I doubt Glock would sell you one if they had one, there were problems with the ported 17L barrel. Just load up some Remington 147 Match grade bullets with 5.0 of AA#5, you'll find it accurate and easy to control. You could have it ported, get a scope and come play with us in U/L, it's a lot of fun! ;f

    Dayton,

Glock stopped making the ported G17L barrels years ago. The non-ported stock G17L is a dream to shoot. If you want to shoot a ported pistol in Competition Category, I suggest a G17C.:)
