Another person that has a truck gun!! Nope never had that experience as I Conceal Carry My Pistol regardless of the hours behind the wheel .

I’m feeling a bit peevish. My new (6 month old) duty pistol, a 17-4, has lost most of the stippling on the right side of the grip. The culprit is armrest/equipment boxes in our Ford Explorer Interceptors. The fit varies from car to car, but several of them rub me the wrong way. For some reason I never had the problem with my M&P.
Anybody else have similar experience?
If I ever decide to sell it, I’ll have to sand both sides smooth and make it a “feature.”

The grip on my Glock 22 gen2 is about as shiny as a light bulb. It’s been my duty weapon for 10 years and my EDC for at least 5. Plastic is what plastic does!
OP: Evidently you feel that this is a Glock problem. How is that?

You can't stick a piece of cardboard, or junk mail, or shemagh, or rag over that those pieces of Ford plastic to keep it from rubbing you the wrong way?

It never happened with the M&P.OP: Evidently you feel that this is a Glock problem. How is that?
I cut off a piece of a a damaged bicycle inner tube & stretched it over the grip of my 23. Trimmed it up so inserting the mag and the mag release are not affected. It’s a simple mod & I like the way the gun feels. You might want to give it a try.
