    have heard of people cuting a bike tube and using it for a grip?
    what are your opinons?
    anyone have pics? would love to see what it looks like!

    Ziggy, The bike tube works great if its cut right I used it for years.

    Interesting idea! My only concern would be that it may not grip as well as skateboard tape with sweaty hands; but then again, I have never tried so I'll ask instead: does it grip well with wet hands?

    Just an update I went out to the garage and found an old tube and was very supprised how well this works!!! very cheap and works great and now my glock 19 and 21 are rockin bike tubes!!!!!

    Did you read the whole post? If you don't wash off the rubber protecting powder it will eat the polymer frame...

    :tongueout: I'm kidding... I'm kidding... it works great! Used some on an XD before... however it did melt the XD completely... actually I sold it...:rofl: The rubber tube that is... I just gave the XD away for free :wavey:

    The bike tube works great for the Glocks and it does a good job when it's wet.
