I just got a Remington VTR 15 to use as my primary predator rifle. I want to get another grip to replace the factory grip, being that this will be a precision rifle usually used at distance. I don't want a grip as thick as an ergo, but I do want one that is thicker than a standard Hogue. Recommendations on a good mid size grip? Thanks guys!

MOE? I thought the Ergo was really thin.

    Yep.

That said, I ditched my MIAD in exchange for a BCM Gunfighter grip a while back. It's smaller than the MIAD I used, but the grip angle is a significant improvement.

Not sure how long you sit your stands for but Plank brought up a great point about the BCM grip. I have one and like but I put some inner tube around it to thicken it up a tad. If you call with your hand on your grip the grip angle may make a difference for you. I only sit my stands for 15-20 minutes so its not a big deal, but 80% of the time I use a bolt 22-250.

Give the MOE a shot if you have not already. For me, its the perfect grip.

The thing about the gunfighter grip is its intended to be used standing up squared with the target. Not that it can't be used in other positions. But it was designed to be used with a specific shooting style.

Remington ARs are simply Bushmaster parts, with a cool paint job and and a different name stamped on them. Nothing special, really.

Rock River makes some of the best hunting specific ARs.
