Green Energy is a scam and a false economy. Like most recycling is a feel good gesture that makes people feel good about putting recyclables into special bins that go straight to the landfill in most places...its bogus.

Well, that wasn't thought out very well, was it? Unintended consequences will bite you in the butt every time.

Blade recycling sounds like a business opportunity. Someone will step in.

Maybe they should dump them at the Mariana Trench. They could put thousands of them down there and it'd be forever before anybody noticed.

Anyone who ever tried to dispose of an old fiberglass boat could have told them there was going to be a big problem.

Yeah, the waste created by the batteries (both production & disposal) for electric cars is very bad too. They are still working on that on too.

Didn't know fiberglass was such a hassle to dispose of. Also haven't dealt with it much.

    Good to know.

Leave them by the side of the road with a Four sale $500 each sign on them and they will disappear.

While I am not found of any green deal item. Common sense tells me that you could take the old turbine blades grind them up and mix it with asphalt for repaving of roads. Just my 2 cents.

Look. I’ve cut down on my farting.

That’s as far as I’m going to go for the environment.

My understanding is Hybrid cars, solar panels and other things like that generate lots of waste and by-products that nearly offset any gain realized by the finished product.

The only concession I make to cut down on global greenhouse gas emissions is to eat less beef by shooting more deer. And catching more fish.

Considering the amount of greenhouse gas ruminants emit, it's a good thing Buffoloe Bill Cody killed all those buffaloes, we'd have been goners long before now.
