    I think it all comes down to your preferred style. I loved the sound Dimebag had and love the freaky stuff Buckethead does with the amp and pedal adjustments but I must admit Eddie VS Randy is a really tough call for me, they are both guitar Gods.

    steve vai didn't screw it up badly enough for the directors tastes. had to re-play it wrong twice to get to that level...he's waaay underrated.

    Rhoads over Eddy, IMO Rhoads was more scholarly and built more tension in his solos-fit the songs better, though Eddy was just as skilled and more the innovator.

    Dimebag over King because (IMO) he performed rhythm and solo duties, and crushed both and I liked his fried solid state tones. King is a stud, but splits the load with Hanneman- although he's a tighter player live vs Dime.

    Bucket over Zack for just being ape**** skilled and more versatile, while I like Zack's tones and wicked arpeggio sweeps-and he seems like a cool guy.
