So what happened with this? Did they give you an excuse for screwing up? How many did you order anyway?

I don't care how busy a company is, there is no excuse for getting orders wrong. Especially so blatently wrong (how do you confuse carbine length for mid length?)

I'm at 15 business days as of yesterday and my order still says "processing". I'm factoring in another 5 days because of the Labor Day sale.

I ordered my upper in 8/29 and it still shows as processing. I usually don't complain about shipping times, but this is starting to get under my skin.

I ordered one of the specials they had on Labor Day. It came exactly two weeks later, 9/17!

I read on another forum that PSA has stated that they should have all of the backlog from the Labor Day sale shipped by the end of this week. We shall see.

I ordered one on 08/28. It was delivered 09/24.

A little longer than my past orders (all of which were not during holiday sales).

Should've waiting a few weeks and got one of these ultralight uppers. I don't need any more 16" uppers. (unless they had the 300BLK upper on sale).

    Anymore 5.56s will be SBRs.

Waiting on ATF now for first stamp.

PSA sent me an email today saying that my order should ship tomorrow or the beginning of next week. We'll see...

I'm very happy with the way this PSA upper build turned out, can't wait to stop feeding it 55gr stuff and find a nice heavy load it likes.

Very nice SPR build! If I were to do it all over again with my SPR, it would have been pretty much exactly like yours, but maybe in FDE.

Also, give some of the Hornady Match loadings a try, I've had good results with them.

I thought about going FDE, but I already had the black UBR from a couple of years back (when I first put the lower together, been wanting to do this for a while....).

Here is my 18" 6.8 upper along with my 16" PSA middy. I have many changes planned for the 6.8 as the gun budget allows.

I was really wanting one of those 18" 6.8s, but can't justify another caliber right now.

Keep us updated on the build!

Ordered 8/31, arrived 10/10. Looks great and shoots great! I'm not sure I like the little bit of extra weight of a mid-length but the reduced recoil and longer sight radius is nice.

One thing I notice about my M&P upper is when I charge it how much metal-on-metal noise the chargng handle makes. Much less so with the PSA. Not a huge deal but it kind of reminded me of fingers on a chalkboard so any improvement is good.
