Ok boys and girls this one is for the night shifters. It's time to pick my new off duty holster for my new G26. I traded away my owb holster with my 27 so I need a holster fairly quickly. So lets see what you all say. I traded away my glock sport holster and I know theres nothing wrong and its a cheap buy but am entertaining any ideas. It will be riding on a maxpedition liger (brown) or 5.11 leather belt (black). It will be concealed so looking for a close ride. So let the voting begin, holster will be purchased at 0430 hrs so get to suggesting!!

I've been very happy with the side armor. Light, cheap, and doesn't take up any room.

CBST. Last one I got for a Glock arrived in 4 days. It helps to be in a bordering state too.

If you need an OWB holster I say blackhawk hands down. It's got that cool retention button and provides a very smooth draw.

For OWB I like the Bianchi Carrylock.

For IWB I just use an Uncle Mikes.

I'm using the SERPA right now.

After watching the Magpul videos I'm thinking about trying out the Raven Concealment Phantom holster...or maybe the DeSantis "facilitator"

Have a raven on the way for my G21 w TLR-1 to replace the one I had for my G22 AMAZING holster. Remember guys I need good concealment with this as ill be wearing it with a cover garment (my 2 additional 5.11 shirts I have on the way ). Keep the ideas coming!

I have a great many holsters by all the usual suspects.

I have a Mitch Rosen 5JR EXP which beats most of the rest hands down, its
very well made has suffered much abuse without any issues and is very thin
and close fitting while being very tough.

    go to "express line"

I have a couple of DelFatti holsters which are the very best

I have used, but the wait is long and they are not cheap.

    OWB? Kramer scabbard horsehide.

IWB? Tons of good stuff, including Concealco, Josh Kobelson (member here) and MTAC/CTAC.

madcitycop, I have a Galco M7X for a Springfield XD. I use it for the range and that's about it. I found that it doesn't ride too tight against the body, and gets pulled away easily. The snaps are pretty secure but the retention left a little something to be desired.

My Glock 17 (I use it for work as well) rides off-duty in a Blade-Tech IWB holster.

    Highly recommended. :)

I have one for glocks and like it. Easy on and off. Decent concealment for an OWB.

I also use an MTAC for IWB when I want to conceal better (t-shirt only).

    How are you built?

Interesting b/c my Glock M7X has very tight retention. Maybe it is a difference in models?

I wear mine at 4 o'clock and don't have an issue with it sticking out.
